Can’t criminals learn how to take a joke?

42-year-old Joseph Ramirez was arrested in Lubbock last week after Officer William Trotter joking told Ramirez and an acquaintance that he was actually riding a “narcotics-sniffing horse.”

Upon hearing this revelation, Ramirez immediately took off running.  He didn’t make it very far though, as horses, even though they aren’t known for their ability to detect drugs, are still very fast creatures.

According to WCAX, Ramirez is facing charges for evading arrest and "tampering with physical evidence."  It's not clear if that evidence was drugs or not.
