DFW is quickly becoming a one of the best cities for fun in America, especially for children. Just as the city of Frisco approved plans for a new Universal Studios Theme Park, it was announced that another theme park was coming to the metroplex. A new Peppa Pig Theme Park designed for younger children will be built in North Richland Hills and is expected to open in 2024.

The Peppa Pig Theme Park coming to North Richland Hills will be the second outdoor theme park based on the popular children’s show in North America, with the other located in Winter Haven, Florida. According to NBC DFW, the 14-acre park will feature rides, interactive attractions, playscapes and shows, all with recognizable scenes and elements from the cartoon. While the park is expected to open in 2024, no specific opening date has been announced.

"North Richland Hills is known for its family-friendly amenities and activities -- we could not be more thrilled to add Peppa Pig Theme Park to the mix," said North Richland Hills Mayor Oscar Trevino. The park will be located next to NRH20 and across the highway from Tarrant County College's Northeast Campus. Soon, parents will have endless options in the metroplex to keep their kids entertained.
