There are some houses in North Texas that take decorating for Christmas very seriously. And we mean veryseriously.
Two of those households happen to be neighbors, Plano residents the Tallos and Buchanan families.
The families live across from each other and have engaged in a friendly holiday duel to see who can "out-Christmas" the other.
Per WFAA, Katie Tallos and her husband Gregory have been decorating their yard for eight years. The Buchanans moved in four years ago, and the "competition" began.
While this competition is all fun and games, good does come from it.
Gregory Tallos dresses up as Santa and visits with the hundreds of children who stop by. The family has also organized for donations to help local charities like Minnie's Food Pantry.
