It was just a few months ago that the entire country was convinced they would be the winners of the massive $1.34 billion Mega Millions lottery. Now, yet another huge payout is up for grabs as many have begun flocking to stores to get in on the game. This Wednesday, Powerball jackpot will draw numbers for a $680 million prize.
On Monday, Powerball went without a winner for the 34th drawing in a row, building up their prize to $680 million. According to NBC DFW, that would be their 7th highest payout of all time. While no one got the big prize on Monday, one lucky person in Richardson managed to win $1 million.
The next drawing will be Wednesday at 9:59 P.M. Powerball is played in 45 states plus Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and players have a one in 292.2 million of winning. Hopefully someone in DFW is the person to draw the lucky numbers.
