Back in 2020, Six Flags Over Texas created excitement throughout the metroplex with the promise of a new ride based on the DC superhero, Aquaman. However, delays have made it so three years later the ride still isn’t open. Luckily, that is finally about to change as the amusement park has announced the long anticipated ride is set to open next month.

On March 11, Aquaman: Power Wave will finally open at Six Flags over Texas. The DC themed water coaster features over 700 feet of track and accelerates to 63 MPH. According to NBC DFW, the new ride will be the 14th at the Arlington theme park.
