Skyline High School is forging a unique path for students to prepare them for a professional career. They are the only school in the state that offers barber classes to students.
The classes are led by Manzell Robertson, who is in his fourth year of teaching the class. According to FOX 4, Students must put in 1,000 hours of theory and training before they can graduate from the program.
Seniors in the program are in school for half the day, and work at a barbershop for the other half. Also, students in the program offer Community Cuts on Wednesday nights where other students can schedule an appointment to get their hair cut by their classmates.
