First it was the roadways and then outer space, now Elon Musk wants to throw his hat into another industry with the announcement of SpaceX's latest venture.
The company just announced plans to build a $500,000 sushi restaurant and a $13.5 million recreation center in Brownsville, TX, close to its launch facilities.
According to Chron.com, filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation say both projects will begin construction on May 1, and are set to be completed in May 2025.
SpaceX has already posted a job listing for a sushi chef, where the list of responsibilities include "catering company events and creating 'a pleasant and fun environment for SpaceX employees to meet and share a meal.'"
The pay range listed is $97,500-$115,000 per year.
