Three lanes of southbound I-635 in Balch Springs were shut down for several hours yesterday after a truck spilled chicken and alligator parts all over the highway.
TxDOT said the spill was reported around 4:30 p.m., on I-635 towards I-20 westbound just before the 175 ramp.
Police officers told WFAA someone "lost their load," with cameras capturing the chicken and alligator parts strewn all over the highway.
Three lanes were closed for cleaning until the freeway reopened a little before 9 p.m.
