It has been years since many fans got the chance to see Steve Perry live. The former Journey frontman last toured in the 90’s, and since has only made a brief guest appearance on stage in 2014, even turning down the chance to perform with Journey during their 2017 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. However, it appears the singer may be ready to perform live for fans once again, teasing a potential residency in either New York or Las Vegas.
Steve Perry recently released a new holiday album, ‘The Season,’ and apparently it has inspired him to return to the stage. The 74-year-old singer recently said he would “love nothing more than to be on stage again." While nothing has been announced at this time, Perry revealed a residency could be coming in the future.

“It's been discussed, but nothing has been put together yet.
I'm a spur of the moment guy. You never know — you might just see me in a nightclub singing a couple of Christmas songs,” said Perry. According to Ultimate Classic Rock, the residency would be in either New York or Las Vegas. Maybe this will bring Perry one step closer to reuniting with Journey one day.
