As football season draws closer, a lot of fans are probably taking their jerseys out of the closet and dusting them off to support their favorite team.
Or if they’re a bandwagon fan, they’re dusting off their jerseys to support their favorite teams.
Loyal fans have been annoyed with bandwagon fans since the beginning of sports, and one NFL franchise stood out above the rest as having the most bandwagon fans in their ranks.
Unfortunately, it’s the Cowboys.
Betway conducted a survey of 2,000 sports fans, who voted the Cowboys as having the most bandwagon fans in the NFL. Across the other sports, the Mets were voted as having the most in the MLB, the Golden State Warriors in the NBA, and the Chicago Blackhawks in the NHL.
The bandwagon fans are doing something right though, as the Cowboys were also voted as having the third best atmosphere at games in the league.
On the flipside, the most loyal fanbase in the NFL? The Green Bay Packers.
