Do you feel like things just never seem to go your way?  Living in the Lone Star State, you’re definitely not alone.

A new study from Action Network found Texas to actually be the unluckiest state in the nation.

The study considered factors like "pure luck," like lottery wins, “financial luck," cost of living and affordability, and "lifestyle and safety luck," which included natural disasters, car accidents, and divorce rates.

Texas ranked 50 out of 50, which explains why you probably spilled coffee on your shirt this morning after getting dressed for work.

The ten luckiest states included:

1 – New Hampshire
2 – Iowa
3 – Minnesota
4 – Pennsylvania
5 – Massachusetts
6 – Illinois
7 – Indiana
8 – Rhode Island
9 – Michigan
10 – Connecticut

And the ten unluckiest states, where we reign supreme, include:

1 – Texas
2- California
3 – Mississippi
4 – Florida
5 – Alabama
6 – Nevada
7 – New Mexico
8 – Arkansas
