How many businesses have moved their operations to the state of Texas over the last couple of years? There's a reason for that!
A new survey from Site Selection Magazine has identified Texas as having the "Top Business Climate" in the nation!
Governor Greg Abbott said in a news conference last week Site Selection highlighted Texas' "business-friendly policies and the efforts of state and local economic development officials."
Gov. Abbott said per the Dallas Morning News, "Texas is America's economic juggernaut."
Texas often placed in the top five of the annual list, and last landed the No. 1 spot in 2011; this year the Lone Star State narrowly edged out Georgia and last year's winner Virginia.
"There's never been a better time to be in Texas," Gov. Abbott concluded.
