Watching sports isn’t just a hobby for some people, it’s the reason for their entire existence.
Passion runs deep especially in Texas, and especially for the Dallas Cowboys.
A new study from Sportsbook Review found that for many sports fans in Texas, upon their deaths they would love their ashes to be spread at the home of the Dallas Cowboys.
AT&T Stadium topped the list, followed by Daikin Park in Houston, the home of the Astros; Kye Field in College Station, NRG Stadium in Houston, where the Texans play; and Toyota Center in Houston, home of the Rockets, to round out the top five.
American Airlines Center ranked seventh in the state, and Globe Life Field came in at No. 10.
According to CW33, when asked about the driving factors behind this attachment fans cited “emotional memories, lifelong support for a team, the desire for it to be meaningful for loved ones, feeling it is a second home and viewing it as a symbol of identity.”
