Tattoo artist Dillon Forte has a slightly different vision for what a tattoo studio should look like. Hey, what have tattoo artists been other than ordinary?
Forte has moved from California to the Lone Star State to open a ten-acre tattoo ranch in the Texas Hill Country.
He told MySA.com, “The vision has been this for most of my career trying to do tattooing in a way that would be the absolute optimal experience to receive a tattoo.
"I want to garner and experience much more than a typical tattoo walk-in.
Forte is already operating out of the ranch, located in Wimberly, and already has plans for multiple cabins on the property which he is calling a “tattoo retreat center.”
"I wanted to build out a place that is a safe, exciting location to have different types of events and of course this tattoo retreat I’ve been ideating," he said.
"I wanted to create a location where clients can come together, discuss ideas on life, connect with one another, and get tattooed."
