Every foodie loves being the one that discovers a new hole-in-the-wall restaurant no one else has heard of yet. Now, one Texas chef is making that her mission as she travels the globe for her new docuseries to discover new restaurants, and the people and cultures that make them so good. The show is called ‘Restaurants at the End of the World’ and it premiered March 21.

Kristen Kish is the chef at Austin’s Arlo Grey, but she is no stranger to the world of television, as she previously won Top Chef and co-hosts the show ‘Fast Foodies.’ Now, her latest project is a travel series where she will learn about people, places, culture and traditions within the world’s most remote restaurants. According to Dallas Culture Map, the four part docuseries will see Kish travel to Boquete, Panama; Svalbard, Norway; North Haven Island, Maine; and Paraty, Brazil.

"This series is all about shared experiences and trading stories," said Kish. The series will air on National Geographic and Disney +. Maybe this will be the way some find their new favorite restaurants.
