The members of our law enforcement are some of the bravest souls that face dangers that many of us can’t even imagine.
That doesn’t mean they don’t get spooked from time to time.
A Texas deputy with the Trinity County Sheriff’s office went viral for his frightening, albeit hilarious, reaction to approaching a deer he thought was dead on the side of the road. His screams when the deer suddenly rose are straight out of a movie.
Sheriff Woody Wallace shared a video of the incident, and stated that instead of getting a citation, the suspicious doe made a getaway and vanished into the woods. "Just another night shift where anything can happen," he said.
According to WFAA, it was unclear what happened to the doe that caused it to be lying on the side of the road, though Wallace said the doe made a full recovery.
