We’re less than two weeks away from Halloween, and there few better spots in the nation to catch a glimpse of the paranormal than the Lone Star State.
A new study from Casino.ca found Texas to be the second most-haunted state in the nation, bested only by New York!
According to the study, Texas has 77 ghost sightings per 10,000 people. New York has the most in the nation with 81 sightings per 10,000 people. Texas is followed by Louisiana, California, Utah, Florida, Pennsylvania, Alabama, Nevada, and Washington to round out the top ten.
The bottom ten, or the least haunted states in the nation include Georgia, Maine, Nebraska, Indiana, Connecticut, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
