Losing something is never fun, but no matter what the item it, finding it is always a great feeling. For many women, losing their purse may be one of the worst items they could possibly misplace, not only due to the contents inside, but also the meaning the bag has. Luckily for one Texas woman, she just found her misplaced purse. However, it was a bag she lost in the 1950s.

A group of contractors recently discovered a long lost purse from the 1950s while working on a new community center that used to be a school in Texas. Using clues from inside the purse, they were able to find out the purse was once owned by Beverly Williams. "There was a mini calendar and the dates and entries stopped in April 1959, so we assume it was lost in April 1059," said Clear Creek ISD communications specialist, Erika Fernandez.

A look inside the purse gives a glimpse into Williams' former life; with items such as a diary, a comb, a nail file and photos of her family and make crushes. According to Houston Chronicle, Williams passed away in 2016. However, with this purse her family likely now knows more about her than ever before.
