One of the most beloved movies of the 90s turned 30 this year, and to celebrate the cast has decided to get together to host a few screenings of the film around the country. Luckily, one of those screenings will be right here in DFW, as next month the cast of ‘The Sandlot’ will take over the Majestic Theater in Dallas. The screening will include a Q&A and meet-and-greet giving fans the chance to learn more about one of the favorite childhood movies.
At this point, there aren’t many people that haven’t seen the movie, ‘The Sandlot,’ but for those in DFW that somehow haven’t, possibly the best way to view the movie is coming to town next month. On September 27, the movie will be shown at the Majestic Theater, with multiple cast members on hand to discuss the film. According to Fort Worth Star Telegram, Tom Guiry (Scotty Smalls), Chauncey Leopardi (Squints), Marty York (Yeah-Yeah) and Shane Obedzinski (Repeat) will all be in attendance.
After the film is screened, fans will get the chance to ask the cast questions. A special VIP ticket is being sold for $129 that includes a meet-and-greet with the actors as well. For fans of ‘The Sandlot’ this is an event they won’t want to miss.
