Texas is known for many things, but arguably the Lone Star state's greatest attribute is its cuisine. While Tex-Mex is the top choice for some, for other it's all about the barbeque. Many states claim to have the best BBQ in the country, but now Texas can prove it, as the food show BBQuest is currently filming its third season in Texas, and they will feature a few DFW BBQ joints as well.
BBQuest is a food show that airs on YouTube, showing off some of the best barbeque restaurants that Texas has to offer. For the show's third season, they have chosen to feature some of North Texas' best. According to Dallas Morning News, BBQuest will look at Loro in Dallas, along with Panther City BBQ and Goldee's Barbecue in Fort Worth.
The show is created and financed by the Texas Beef Council. This season they hope to inform people about the food and the ranches where Texas cattle are raised. After this season airs, the world will know it doesn't get any better than Texas BBQ.
