We all know that the state of Texas loves its football, but the Dallas Cowboys aren't proving to be too popular themselves in the Lone Star State.

Despite the moniker of being "America's Team," a recent study from FlashPicks shows that the most popular players of the NFL all play for teams outside of Texas, and even the most popular player amongst Texas residents does as well.

According to the rankings, which were determined by an analysis of Google searches, Travis Kelce is the most popular football player in Texas, as well as 48 other states!

People searched online for Kelce an astonishing 4.75 million times each month, more than 3 million searches than any other player in the league.

In Texas, Kelce garnered 368,000 searches per month, more than double anyone else. Patrick Mahomes is in second with an average of 165,000 searches per month. Cowboys quarterback Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott is third with 135,000 searches every month, followed by Jets QB Aaron Rodgers with 110,000 monthly searches.

The only state where Kelce isn't the most popular player is Minnesota, where Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins secured the top spot.

The top ten most popular players in the NFL, according to FlashPicks, include:

1 – Travis Kelce
2 – Patrick Mahomes
3 – Aaron Rodgers
4 – Brock Purdy
5 – Joe Burrow
6 – Russell Wilson
7 – Tyreek Hill
8 – Christian McCaffrey
9 – Kirk Cousins
10 – Jalen Hurts
