
Trent Reznor may be known for his work with Nine Inch Nails, but in recent years the musician has seen just as much success in the movie world. Along with his partner, Atticus Ross, Reznor has scored some of the biggest movies and television shows, winning major awards along the way. Now, it has been announced that Reznor will be tackling another film project, composing the score for the upcoming Ninja Turtles movie.
Director, Jeff Rowe, recently took to social media to share with fans that he had been working with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross on the score of his next project, ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.’ The news was accidentally shared by Rowe’s friend, skateboarding icon Tony Hawk, during a recent interview, forcing the director to take to social media to announce the film’s score composer. “Well now that my teenage hero @tonyhawk has leaked that my music heroes are doing this I can add that the score is absolutely AMAZING,” Rowe wrote in his now viral tweet.
According to Pitchfork, fans will get to hear the film’s score when it is released in theaters August 2. ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’ stars Seth Rogen, Post Malone, Maya Rudolph, Ice Cube, Paul Rudd, Hannibal Buress, and more. With Trent Reznor on board as well, this film definitely has plenty of star power.
