For most people, staying at a haunted hotel would almost guarantee a sleepless night. Yet, there are still some who seek out these hotels to add some spookiness to their vacation. While there are plenty of hotels that claim to be haunted, the ones that truly are likely want to keep that a secret.
Luckily for those looking for a scary time, a recent viral video claims a DFW hotel is haunted despite the hotel denying it.

The La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham in Downtown Dallas has seen plenty of horror since opening in 1925. Previously known as the Scott Hotel, Bradford and Hotel Lawrence, the hotel has sadly experienced a number of deaths and murders throughout its history. According to CW33, a gangster named Jack “Smiley” Jackson haunts the 10th floor of the hotel.

Since “Smiley” was murdered in the hotel, guests have reported cold spots, shadows, sounds of crying, hearing footsteps and more. While the hotel has become a hot spot for paranormal activity, the current owners claim the hotel got rid of the ghosts when they renovated. Now, guests will just have to see for themselves if that was the truth or a cover up.
