Los Angeles is a wild place -- you never know who will simply appear in your general vicinity. It could be an actor, artist, athlete, business mogul, or one of the world's most famous drummers.

Recently a clip went viral showing a busker on Downtown Santa Monica's 3rd Street Promenade practicing his drumming skills by playing along to Red Hot Chili Peppers' "Otherside." While his crowd looks a little empty at first, a perfect zoom reveals RHCP drummer Chad Smith watching and bopping along to the performance.

"Who wants to tell him," a text overlay on the video reads, pointing out how in- the-zone the busker is, completely unaware that the multi-GRAMMY winner was in his presence.

"Only in LA," reads the video's caption, followed by tons of comments from followers such as, "Wow what is Will Ferrell doing there? Amazing drumming btw;" "It’s like he’s praying and god shows up;" "Amazing moment for chad. To not get recognised and just enjoy it;" and “Bro has one man listening but still the biggest audience,” among others.

Let's hope word gets back to the busker and he gets a chance to bask in the glow of Chad Smith, if only through his phone screen.
