Taylor recently joined Trey Morgan of Audacy's BIG 98.1 to share the magic of induction night and what he believes is to credit for the big honor.
“There’s a lot that can happen if you just stick together,” he said as he credited the guys for maintaining the group’s status even when times got tough. “Getting inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, you don’t get that by writing five hits in your early 20s. You’ve just gotta stick it out and you’ve gotta stay alive most importantly,” he laughed.
The group was inducted in November 2022 alongside fellow standout performers Pat Benatar, Eminem, Eurythmics, Dolly Parton, Lionel Richie, and Carly Simon.

“The way that they present every artist is so well done. It’s the most perfect showcase,” Taylor gushed of the November 5 ceremony. “Everybody that played, I’m like, ‘Man! These guys are great, I love these guys!’ And the variety…”
