Viral star Salt Bae's DFW restaurant to open in November

The Turkish restauranteur's steakhouse, Nusr-Et, will be located in the Arts District

As many who have gone viral learn, internet fame can fade quickly. Yet, one viral star has managed to turn a food video into a full blown restaurant venture. Now, after three years in the works, viral star Salt Bae's steakhouse is set to open in DFW.

Nusr-Et, the steakhouse from Turkish restauranteur Nusret Gökçe is finally set to open in the Arts District in November. While details are still scarce a spokesperson for the restaurant said they will open their doors on November 16. The restaurant is currently hiring staff for their opening.

Nusret Gökçe, better known as Salt Bae, went viral in 2017 for a video showing his dramatically sprinkling salt on large portions of beef.
He has managed to use this fame to open restaurants in New York, Miami and Boston, though some locations have come with a bit of controversy. Hopefully the Dallas location can launch without any hiccups.
