The Oakland restaurant owner and 49ers fan who was beaten outside of SoFi Stadium in January has recently woken up from a medically induced coma.

The Los Angeles Rams fan accused of beating up Daniel Luna, 40, has since been charged with battery, according to reporting by KNTV.
Bryan Alexis Cifuentes Rossell, 33, and Luna got into an altercation in the parking lot of the stadium at the NFC Championship Game. Luna suffered a traumatic brain injury and had to be put in a coma.
Luna has since awoken and is recovering, as previously reported by KCBS Radio. "Daniel has significant physical…speech therapy issues," a family friend told KCBS Radio on Wednesday.
Rossell currently is out on bail. He's scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 29 in Inglewood, according to KNTV.
