13,000 In Allegheny County Without Power

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) Just over 32,000 are without power across the state of Pennsylvania, 13,000 in Allegheny County.

This comes after a thunderstorm brought down trees, power lines, and floods across the county.

Allegheny County also reported multiple fires that may have been started by lightning strikes.

The National Weather Service of Pittsburgh had a severe thunderstorm warning that included penny sized hail and 60 mph.
