PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Allegheny County Health Department has confirmed the first new death from coronavirus since Wednesday.
The single new death today brings the total number of deaths in Allegheny County from COVID_19 to 178.
The Health Department also added 20 new cases, bringing the total number of cases to 2,158.
Of the total number of cases, 362 past or present cases have been hospitalized.
All deaths within Allegheny County range from ages 42-103.
