PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) The Allegheny County Health Department has added 39 new confirmed or probable cases of COVID-19, from 536 total tests administered.

The 39 new cases bring the total of past or present cases in Allegheny County to 10,810.


No new deaths were confirmed by the Health Department, keeping the county's death toll at 349.

Of the new cases the age breakdown is as follows:

Age 0-4: 1 case

Age 5-12: 2 cases

Age 13-18: -1 cases

Age 19-24: 11 cases

Age 25-49: 15 cases

Age 50-64: 3 cases

Age 65+: 8 cases

A reduction in a case can be a result of a patient's age being entered incorrectly or the person lives out of the county.

The median age of the 39 new cases is 45 years, and span from age three to 82.
