Philadelphia's police commissioner Richard Ross says 72 officers have been placed on administrative duty, accused of racist and anti-Muslim comments on social media.
"But it makes me sick to be honest with you, it really makes me sick because we are in a position to know better," said Ross
Ross believes at least "several dozen" people will be disciplined and expects some to be fired for the posts uncovered by a team of researchers who spent two years looking at the personal Facebook accounts of police officers from Arizona to Florida.
