A fire department in Maine has a brand new honorary firefighter: nine-year-old Brayson Dunton.
The young man who is battling a cancerous brain tumor wants to be a firefighter when he grows up, so the Newport Fire Department honored him after he finished a round of chemotherapy.
Brayson was presented with a certificate and a t-shirt that recognizes him as a junior firefighter.
We hope that once he is finished fighting cancer, he can one day to go on fighting fires with his new colleagues.
