PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - In Allegheny County's daily update of the Coronavirus Friday, the number of confirmed cases grew by 30, 14 more than Thursday.
The total number of cases in the county is now at 1,319. Of those, 1,272 are confirmed and 47 are probable cases.
A total of 99 people have now died as a result of COVID-19 in Allegheny County that is and addition of five from Thursday.
Of those deaths, 89 are confirmed (had a positive test) with 10 probable. A probable death is one where COVID-19 is on the death certificate but never has a positive test for coronavirus.
There is also one less hospitalization in the county with the total number of those treated, past or present, at 235. On case was incorrectly identified as a hospitalization when it was actually an emergency room visit.

00-04 – 4 (less than 1%)05-12 – 4 (less than 1%)13-18 – 10 (1%)19-24 – 92 (7%)25-49 – 459 (35%)50-64 – 370 (28%)65 + -- 380 (29%)The gender of those with COVID-19 are listed below:Female – 697 (53%)Male – 622 (47%)
