Allegheny County Adds 119 New COVID-19 Cases, 7 Deaths

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County has 119 new COVID-19 cases, with 20 new hospitalizations and seven new deaths.

The new positive results were among 1,804 test results reported to the Allegheny County Health Department in the previous 24 hour period and range in age from 10 months to 97 years.


The tests were conducted July 10 through July 27.

Out of the 119 cases, 115 are confirmed and four are labeled as probable. 

The age group breakdown of the new cases is as follows:

  • 00-04 (2 cases)
  • 05-12 (1 case)
  • 13-18 (9 cases)
  • 19-24 (11 cases)
  • 25-49 (35 cases)
  • 50-64 (27 cases)
  • 65+ (34 cases)

The county has had 7,593 COVID-19 cases since March of this year with 603 hospitalizations and 229 deaths.
