PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department has announced its COVID-19 update for Sunday, July 26.

There have now been 7,294 positive cases in the county, an increase of 133 (127 confirmed and six probable) from Saturday's number of 7,161.

The positive test dates ranged from July 7 through July 25.

In the 133 cases, the ages ranged from two to 95; the median age was 53.

There have been 581 hospitalizations, either ongoing or in the past, and there were four new hospitalizations to report from Saturday.

222 confirmed or probable deaths related to COVID-19 have been reported by the ACHD, but there were no new deaths from Saturday, July 25.

The newest data comes from 1,750 administered tests.

The 25-49 age group is still the most affected demographic, and that is reflected in Sunday's numbers with 47 of the cases falling within that group.

As far as gender breakdowns, 72 of the cases were found in women and 61 for men.

The Allegheny County Health Department has a digital map that can be used to follow the positive cases and their locations and densities across the county.
