PITTSBURGH, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department has announced the Sunday, April 19 coronavirus update for the county.
There have now been 1,035 confirmed or probable cases.
The number increased by 26 cases after 1,009 cases were confirmed on Saturday.
There have been 180 total hospitalizations to date, ongoing or in the past.
There have also been 50 confirmed or probable deaths related to COVID-19.
The death toll jumped by three cases from Saturday's total of 47. The 25-49 age group continues to be hit the hardest; the demographic has accounted for nearly 400 cases.
12,195 tests have been conducted so far.
The ACHD has an interactive map to keep track of the locations and number of postive cases throughout the county.
