PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Amazon has responded to complaints from a local labor leader about out of state workers being used to build the company's new fulfillment center in Findlay Township.

In a statement, Amazon says it is currently working with local construction crews from Pittsburgh, Western PA, and across the state.

Amazon doesn't say if it is using union workers.

Amazon indicates contractors are selected in an open bid process with more contracts to be let.
