American Lung Association Give Pittsburgh An 'F' For Air Quality

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - An F for Pittsburgh's air quality from the American Lung Association in its annual “State of the Air” report.

Allegheny County failed in ratings for ozone and daily and long-term fine particle pollution.

In fact, we’re the only county in the U.S. outside of California to get an F in the measurements of air pollution.

The 2019 report is based on data collected from 2015 through 2017.
