PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - There seems to be no end to the scams popping up to take advantage of people during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Robocalls are on the rise. Telecommunications provider “You Mail” reports that one million a day are going out to cell phone.

They’re pushing scams like work from home opportunities, cut rate health insurance, and nutritional supplements to boost immunity.

Fraud.org says if you answer a robocall, hang up, and don’t press any buttons that may encourage more calls.

And you don’t have to fill out a Census form to get the government’s coronavirus assistance check. That’s a fake Census form.
