City Of Pittsburgh Helps To Donate 33K Meals Since Pandemic Start

PITTSBURGH, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The City of Pittsburgh, along with its affiliates, have worked to donate 33,379 meals since March 20, when the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Those meals were put together to help children and seniors.

The City with the help of Parkhurst Dining, the Salvation Army, Save A Life Today and Rivers Casino sent out 4,884 meals during the week of May 10: 2,108 to seniors and 2,776 to children.
