Want to be a small part of an Emmy-winning show based in Pittsburgh?
While “The PITT” films most of its scenes in the Los Angeles area, they do film most of the exterior shots in Pittsburgh and they need extras.
Filming for season 3 exterior shots will take place October 27-29.
The Pittsburgh Unit of “The PITT” is looking for non-union background actors and you could be one of them.
Some of the characters they are looking for include healthcare workers, patients, visitors, pedestrians, people on bikes, people with cars, construction workers and more.
Most of the exterior shots for past seasons were filmed around Allegheny General Hospital in the North Side.

“The PITT” just won two Emmy Awards this past Monday, Best Drama and Best Actor for Noah Wyle, who plays Dr. Michael 'Robby' Robinavitch.
The new season will debut on HBO Max in January 2027.
