PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Washington County has reported a total of two deaths from the coronavirus.

“Some of these numbers may not be completely accurate. There are disclaimers from the Department of Health; we’ve also been told that no matter the root cause of death, if an individual was affected with COVID-19, their county then adds a COVID-19 death,” Washington County Commission Chair Diana Irey Vaughan said during the KDKA Radio Morning Show on Wednesday.

Hospitals in her county are not “at all” overwhelmed; independent community hospitals are rather hurting to stay afloat, losing hundreds of thousands of dollars a day.
