PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - First Responders rescued an elderly man Tuesday evening after he fell about 20 feet down a hillside in Mount Washington.
It happened around 5:45 p.m. The man, who is in his 80s, fell while walking in the 600 block of Olympia Road.
He was clinging to a tree when rescuers pulled him to safety with a rope, pulling him up the hill in a stokes basket.
The victim was evaluated by medics on the scene and found he had no serious injuries.
He was cleared by a doctor and allowed to return home with his family.
