PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Pittsburgh Steeler safety Kameron Kelly is facing multiple charges after a dispute at a Southside Bar early this Friday morning.
According to the criminal complaint, a police officer said that he was called to Mario’s South Side Saloon to remove an individual identified as Kelly.
The officer overheard Kelly threaten a bar employee when his song was skipped on the bar's jukebox.
The officer said he also accidentally stepped on a woman's foot, who Kelly identified as "his woman" and Kelly allegedly made a threat toward the officer.
The complaint says that Kelly and the officer got into fight as Kelly continued to allegedly resist arrest, and the officer admitted to punching Kelly in the face.
Kelly was treated for a busted lip at UPMC Mercy after his arrest and was then transported to Allegheny County Jail.
He currently faces two charges of terroristic threats and one charge of resisting arrest.
Kelly came to the Steelers in April signing with the team after the AAF football league he was in folded.
