The Elizabeth Borough police station has been closed due to a COVID-19 outbreak within the department.
According to a reports, three officers tested positive for the virus and another is probable. Those officers are rquarantined.
Residents in need of police should call 9-1-1. Other police departments will be covering for the borough.
