HARRISBURG (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Governor Tom Wolf has granted an additional extension to firearm carry permits.
Permits that were set to expire on March 19 or later are now valid through September 30.
With the closure of some county courthouses and sheriff's offices in order to slow the spread of COVID-19, State Police said the extension was necessary.
In Pennsylvania, anyone 21-years or older can apply for a firearm carry license.
Licenses are valid for five years.
