Free Thanksgiving Meals Available To Pittsburghers In Need

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Do you know someone in the City of Pittsburgh that needs a meal on Thanksgiving?

Pittsburgh Police are teaming up with the Rotary Clubs of Bethel St. Clair and Northern Allegheny, and Holy Assumption of St. Mary Orthodox Church in cooking and delivering food on Thanksgiving Day.

The Get Stuffed with Love event started 16 years ago and fed 250 people.

Now, over 3,800 people who are homeless, disabled, shut-in and in need are provided meals.

The deadline to request a meal is Thursday.

If you or someone you know needs a meal on Thanksgiving in the city, call your police zone’s officer.
