PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - As the number of coronavirus cases in the area continue to rise, gas prices continue to fall.
AAA says after gas prices fell 12 cents last week, the average price of gas has gone down another 13 cents this week and is going for $2.35 on average according to AAA East Central's Gas Price Report.
The main reason for the drop in price is crude oil is at an 18-year low.
Prices last week averaged $2.48 and this time last year was $2.79.
