Hamilton Returning To Pittsburgh For 2020-2021 Broadway Series

PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust has an impressive lineup for its upcoming 2019-2020 season but it is the return of “Hamilton” for the 2020-2021 season that has people buzzing!

The special “Hamilton” announcement was made Monday in conjunction with the shows coming later this year.

The Cultural Trust says season ticket holders for the 2019-2020 season who renew for the 2020-2021 season will receive priority seating when “Hamilton” returns.

The PNC Broadway in Pittsburgh shows coming to town this upcoming season are “Mean Girls” October 28- November 3, 2019, “A Bronx Tale” November 19-24, 2019, “Jesus Christ Superstar” December 31, 2019 – January 5, 2020, “Miss Saigon” February 4-9, 2020, “The Band’s Visit” March 10-15, 2020, “Summer: The Donna Summer Musical” April 7-12, 2020, and  “Escape To Margaritaville” May 12-17, 2020. All shows are at the Benedum Center with the exception of “Jesus Christ Superstar” that show will play at Heinz Hall.

The Cultural Trust also announced the season specials coming to Pittsburgh next season including, “Disney’s The Lion King” September 4-29, 2019, “Les Miserables” November 26 – December 1, 2019, “The Illusionists: Magic of the Holidays” December 26-29, 2019, and “Cats” February 26- March 1, 2020. All shows are at the Benedum with the exception of “The Illusionists” that show will play at Heinz Hall.
