PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Kennywood has announced they are once again selling giving fans a once in a lifetime opportunity to own a piece of the park’s history.
An original log flume from the old Log Jammer right is being auctioned off for charity.
All off the proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Give Kids The World Village, a resort in Florida that provides cost-free, weeklong vacations to kids who have life-threatening illnesses.
Last year’s auction brought in over $11,000 and was bought by local real estate company Cowden Creek.
The bid as of Monday morning is at $4,250.
